Game Development and Play Testing

Hello fellow game developers! In this devlog post, we'll take a look at the development process and playtesting of "Ruins of Fortune: The Quest for the Ultimate Treasure".

Development Process:

We began by brainstorming the concept of the game, including its storyline, characters, and gameplay mechanics. We then created a development plan that included creating game assets, programming mechanics, and designing levels.

We used Unity as our game engine and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating game assets. We also used Google Docs to document our development progress, including feature lists, asset lists, and level design notes.

Playtesting:

After completing a playable build, we conducted several rounds of playtesting with a diverse group of testers to gather feedback and improve the game. We used the feedback to make changes to the game mechanics, level design, and UI/UX.

We also used analytics tools to track player progress and behavior, which helped us identify areas of the game that needed improvement.

Overall, the development process and playtesting were crucial in creating a fun and engaging game that we're proud of.
